Redefining careers that GRO

Marriott’s ever growing global sales force, and its commitment to provide career planning and advancement tools for its staff, resulted in the need for an interactive web-based career services suite that could be supported on any desktop or mobile platform. Blue Water was duly charged with creating a website that could function as a resource library of information, as well as implement GRO, Marriott’s proprietary and fully interactive logic-based career mapping tool.

The Solution:

Blue Water developed a strategy for communicating the full offerings of the GRO portal on a digital platform, presenting a new outline for the main site and a new site architecture plan.

The Results:

The main site and the proprietary custom career-aggregating tool (GRO) is being utilized with great effect. In the first six months post launch, the Marriott Gro portal has seen over 400% growth in users and a 94% increase in pageviews. The portal has been a valuable resource for Marriott and engagement metrics continue to increase.
